A Comprehensive Level 2 Workplace Mental Health Qualification — With an Action Plan
The FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) is an Ofqual-regulated qualification designed specifically for the workplace. It goes significantly further than the Level 1 Awareness qualification — covering ten modules across a minimum of six contact hours, including a dedicated First Aid Action Plan for Mental Health, a module on drugs and alcohol and a module on building a mentally healthy workplace.
It is accredited by First Aid Awards Ltd, regulated by Ofqual (England) and SQA (Scotland), and delivered by a qualified Nuco-certified Trainer/Assessor. On successful completion of both the written assessment and the practical scenario, delegates receive a nationally recognised Level 2 certificate valid for three years.
QAN: 603/3769/2 · 10 Modules · Certificate valid 3 years from date of achievement
This is not an awareness session or a wellbeing workshop. It is a regulated qualification with a structured ten-module syllabus, a written assessment, a practical scenario and official certification — giving your organisation trained, qualified Mental Health First Aiders equipped to act, not just to notice.
