About This Course

Annual Refresher — Keep Your Mental Health First Aid Skills Current

Holding a regulated FAA First Aid for Mental Health qualification is an important step. Keeping those skills sharp in the months between qualifications is equally important. Research consistently shows that knowledge and confidence in responding to mental health situations can fade without regular practice and reinforcement — and that the landscape of factors affecting mental health continues to shift.

This 3-hour annual refresher course is designed for existing certificate holders at any FAA level — Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 — who want to recap core skills, revisit the First Aid Action Plan, update their awareness of current factors affecting mental health and reinforce practical wellbeing strategies. It is supported by First Aid Awards and delivered by a Nuco-certified trainer.

This is a non-regulated CPD course. It does not issue an Ofqual-regulated certificate and does not replace the formal requalification process. Attendance records are issued to confirm participation.
